LOMS Mathcounts team takes second in regionals, individual honors

The Lone Oak Middle School Mathcounts team took second in the regional Mathcounts competition on Saturday, February 18. The LOMS team will advance to the state competition in Louisville on March 31.
Zach Althouse was also awarded individual first place honors, receiving scholarship funds to Western Kentucky University, the University of Kentucky or the University of Louisville.
